There are no evidence that these ‘gentlemen’ created a cryptocurrency that Africa is aware of officially via any hackathon, developer/software contest. For the ‘first’ cryptocurrency to be created and exist with serious awareness on who started it and how it was developed makes any claim about is authenticity hollow.”
The above stated, placed a question mark on any form of crypto body called Africoin. The writer of the article however, gave room for a counter release if everything stated is false.
Prior to the release of that article in 2017, Africoin.black had not been launched. Africoin.black was launched in 2020, and the developers took it upon themselves to go through the due process of deploying it on the blockchain and updating its information and links to the explorer.
It is therefore necessary to state that Africoin.black, has no affiliation whatsoever with the other Africoin bodies launched earlier before 2020.
